It has been so long since I have posted on this blog and I realize that part of the reason is that I have not had a daily creative practice in a while. Time to get going. I read something yesterday and do not know who said or wrote it but it is: "Get up every day and choose to engage. to make. to do something." And so here I am today....showing up.

I got some beads in Santa Fe, went to a bead store near home for findings and made the turquoise necklace. At the same time, I found the felt shapes and made one for my young grandaughter.

Back to collage after a long spell. Thinking about where I am in my life today and the ancestors upon whose shoulders I stand. Myself a daughter, mother, grandmother.

After a walk along the beach, I did this sketch. Summer here in Gloucester is wonderful on a day like this.
